Her passion for African American history grew from the family stories she heard as a child—stories that revealed her family once had a town named in their honor—sparking a lifelong commitment to documenting the people and legacies that shape communities.

Through her portrait studio, Phinishing Touches, LLC, Renee creates guided luxury portrait experiences designed to capture confidence, individuality, and the milestones that define personal legacy.
